Merge (mechanic)[]
Merging is how you upgrade your monkeys in Monkey Tycoon. You can do it with 2 methods, auto-merging and with the merge button.
Merge button[]
The merge button found in front of your monkeys.
This is the first way to merge, it is conveniently right in front of your monkeys
Auto-merge[]
An auto-merge displayed in chat.
The auto-merge is the second way to merge in-game. You can get this merge by having about 250 monkeys. To know if you have auto-merged you can look at the chat and it will display a green message saying "Your monkeys were automatically merged to prevent lag!"
